City Park, Poznań

City Park is a residential complex in secessionist district of Poznań, which was build on place of former cavalry barracks. The extraordinary architecture combines history with modernity.

The existing building were renovated and rebuilt keeping most of its historic elevations and newly constructed building refers to them by its architectural details and elevations.

Next to luxury apartments with terraces and winter gardens there are top class pubs, restaurants,  pastry shops, whisky squad but also swimming pool on the roof and parking in basement.

Bartels helped the general contractor to optimize structural design and significantly reduce construction costs, providing engineering services for amended permit design and construction drawings.
