Stary Browar (Old Brewery) is an Art, Retail and Business Centre, located on junction of Półwiejska and Krakowska streets in very centre of Poznań. The whole complex of total area of 130.000m2 was build on ruins of XIX-century Hugger’s Brewery and is a magnificent example of connection of shopping centre with art gallery.
This project received many Polish and international awards. In 2005 the International Council of Shopping Centers has awarded Stary Browar as the best middle shopping centre in the world.
Bartels has provided structural services for detail engineering of concrete and steel structure of part B and J of about 14.000m2 consisting of retail space and above ground parking.
