Bartels Polska is specialized in providing engineering solutions for durable and safe building structures, helping investors and architects realizing their visions and also assisting construction companies cost-effectively and timely construct buildings.

We are involved on every project stage – from sketch design, building permit and tender design, to construction drawings and site supervision. We make also technical reports of existing and monumental buildings. We provide second opinion reports in respect of design codes, safety, correctness and possible construction costs savings.

We work for investors, architects, construction companies, steel structure suppliers and prefabricated concrete manufacturers as well as for other engineering companies on entire project or selected phase or part.

We also provide back-office services – making construction and production drawings or structural analyses on commission for international clients – construction companies, prefabricated concrete manufacturers and engineering companies – projects realized in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and Ireland. We speak English, German and Dutch.

How we do it:

we consider the most important decisions regarding structure is taken on early stage of the project
structural concept phase is most important for us, because only then we are able effectively combine client’s expectations with architect’s vision and needs of other disciplines
building permit design is a document necessary to obtain building permission only, but our engagement on this stage prevents later implementation of significant changes during next phases of the project resulting from structural needs
tender design is the most important attachment of the contract between client and construction company. When properly made, unpredictable costs of additional works claimed by contractor are avoided, on the other hand having optimal cost calculation of construction works
construction and production drawings: we know every construction site is different and has its own rules – despite the fact we have made many projects we do not know everything – it’s best to be made in cooperation with chosen construction company – only then we are able to make really cost-effective structural design – optimal as regards quantities of used construction material on site and labor intensity
detail design documentation – includes huge amount of drawings, details and components that we can manage using our internal management and control system, our engineering thoroughness and accuracy and finally dedicated software
computer aided calculations are used only to confirm structural engineer assumptions, not vice versa
