Regional Center for Business Tourism, Wrocław

The Centennial Hall in Wrocław designed by Maxa Berg and surrounding Exhibition Grounds – created in years 1910- 1913 – are an unique worldwide example of XX century architecture. In July 2006 it was finally confirmed by being declared in UNESCO Register of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Because of constantly growing interest and importance of this facility, a decision was made to expand the  restaurant pavilion which is to be used to as back-up facility of the Hall as well as for the purpose of organizing conferences, educational trainings and finally cultural and sport events. Concept of new pavilion was designed by Wrocław based architects awarded during international architectural competition.

Bartels was responsible for concept, permit design, construction drawings and site supervision.
