OBC 5 STAR, Gdańsk

Olivia Business Center 5 STAR is another building of the ultra modern office complex in Gdansk, located in the heart of the Tri-City. It is the highest building of this office complex, the highest office building in Gdansk and one of the highest prefabricated office buildings in Europe.

This 180m high, dominating over surrounding area building has 3 underground parking levels and 36 floors above ground and is concluded with 30m masts. In addition to office function, there is also a hotel and a restaurant on the top floor.

Bartels has provided engineering services for concept phase, permit design and construction drawings.

The underground structure has been designed as reinforced concrete structure. Prefabricated concrete elements technology was chosen for the superstructure, which stability is provided by RC core.

Design work was made with unprecedented for such a investment pace. Three months after the design has been commenced construction works of foundation plate were started and not longer the 2 years later the topping ceremony of highest floor has taken place.
